We’re back with another episode of Woman Crush Wednesday, where I feature the most amazing members of the Sexyfit community to share their tips for a happier, healthier, sexier and more confident life.
Our wonderful sister Susanne Rose is a member of the Sexyback Mastermind and she has achieved an astonishing transformation as you can see on the picture. Here is her inspiring story and advice for you.
Why did you start this journey?
I started exercising when I was a teenager and I’ve exercised all my life. For me, exercising was a way to control my weight because I love to eat. I did that until I’ve realized that exercising makes me feel great, that I sleep better and it affects my overall wellbeing more than it works for weight control. I exercised by myself for many years but I realized I needed a professional coach and finally I invested in myself. Previously I thought it was frivolous to invest in myself for something I could find on internet. But having a coach makes for a whole different level of success.
Sexyfit is a different program, it’s a lifestyle and it’s all about being proud of yourself and creating your body into something that you look in the mirror and feel good and sexy. At my age I didn’t think I was going to go this way. But I do take it on because I feel sexy.
What has been the most surprising discovery about self?
I learned that I can make exercise a priority and be consistent with it. It’s not spending hours at the gym, it’s just a few exercises and it’s so much easier than what I used to do. I learned to follow a coach and be a part of the community, which I didn’t think I would be successful at because I’m a loner. It’s very nice to have somebody with you on the journey to your sexier, beautiful self. It just grows inside of you and you grow with it. I read everybody’s posts in the group and learn a lot from them because I can look at things from a different perspective and successfully address my own issues.
Why would you tell your old self?
You always have to have your big enough WHY. You have to know it and write it down in a journal. Do a lot of journaling. If nobody wants to listen to you put it on the paper. Paper is patient. Once your struggles are out of your head they get much easier and often are gone.
What are some of the tips you want to share with the community?
You can achieve anything you want with a guidance and a community. You can get a different, fresh approach for how to manage crises and you can use the tools provided by Sexyfit.
Make your bed in the morning and have a little routine to get your day going. Do a little bit of meditation, give yourself some quiet time. When you get quiet and look inside yourself everything just goes better.
