#TransformationTuesday today, and I want you to meet Amanda.
Amanda is an Operations Manager, and once was a slim and a confident woman, but lost her confidence somewhere along the way of gaining 100 lbs… She works in a male dominated field, and of course she feels that looking good and feeling confident will get her the respect she once had.
Trying different diets, eating “clean”, and working out daily helped her to lose a bit of weight, but never really brought her any sustainable results. Always putting everyone first – family, friends, work – always caught up, and the weight came back every time. Amanda managed to lose 17 lbs on her own, and then decided it was time to kick it up a notch, get some help from a professional and do this for real.
Together we created a flexible eating plan that allows her to enjoy the food she likes, eat out with friends and family without feeling starved and keep losing fat at a steady rate. Her fitness plan is challenging but realistic. As she says herself, she never feels like she can’t finish it. She has the flexibility of working out at a gym or at home.
Working the Sexyfit plan and being a part of the SexyBack group is bringing Amanda amazing results. She finally feels like she is doing something very important for HER rather than just always investing time in everyone else around her. She realized the importance of investing in herself, taking care of herself and doing what SHE needs to do, and the results are stunning.
The Amanda I met is not the same. The new Amanda is confident, is always smiling, and she sure knows what she wants and how to get there.

What made you decide to join Sexyfit? It was finally time to put ME, first. I always put everyone else ahead of
me; family, friends, coworkers. I’m always doing for others. I needed to start doing for me. So I decided it was my moment to be a little selfish and focus on just that. ME. I’m making the investment in ME! Making deposits into the bank of Amanda!
What do you like most about the SexyFit approach to nutrition, fitness and accountability? Access to the coaches and the community is amazing! Whenever I need advice, support or guidance, I know the coaches are there for me. And the community is so supportive! One big SexyFit family. And we are all on this journey together. The members are all very positive and cheer you on. Like Zlata says, “Nobody gets in shape alone”.
The fitness and nutrition plans are realistic. I haven’t encountered one workout I couldn’t do. Or a meal plan that left me feeling hungry or even worse – broke! Everything is reasonable. Plan the work and work the plan!
In your journey, what are you most proud of? So many things! Right now, I’m most proud of my current weight loss. But there are so many other things to be proud of, too. Like learning more about nutrition and fitness. Learning how amazing my body is. Learning more about myself: my whys and my motivations. Learning how to hold myself and others accountable. Learning that if I put my mind to it, I can acheive my desired results.
What are your words of wisdom to someone who is just starting their journey? Trust the process! Trust your coach. Trust! Believe! Rome was not built in a day. I have to keep reminding myself I didn’t get here overnight. Things won’t change overnight. But if you trust in the process, commit to the program and put in all the hard work, the results will come. Do the work and you will be rewarded!
