I am bringing another amazing #TransformationTuesday story to you today!
I’m very proud to introduce you to Mondana.
Mondana has been in our annual Sexyback Challenge since last year. Between nursing school, work and library she had very little time to spend on making food for herself and exercising, but most importantly she didn’t know exactly what she needed to do in order to lose fat. Oftentimes, drive through was her breakfast and dinner, and sometimes she could go a whole day without eating anything at all.
Of course, with eating habits like those and not having time and motivation to change something, she noticed she was gaining weight. She decided it was time to do something about it.
She tried many different diets until she realized that without a good scientific approach, she would never be able to reach her goal. She also realized that without any support from like-minded women, she sets her up for a failure every single time.
That was what brought her to Sexyfit.
With the change of lifestyle habits, even the way she looks at life is now different. She does not give up on anything anymore. Mondana’s strong will and her determination to become healthier, happier and more confident are going to take her even further. She truly became unstoppable! We cannot be more proud of you, Sexyfit sister!

What made you decide to join Sexyfit? I was raised by immigrant grandparents who fed me mcdonalds as part of an American diet. I reached a point in my life that I was eating Taco Bell every night after a long day and dealing with emotions with food. I thought I was addicted to food and that id never be able to stop this habit. I felt powerless to it. I was ready for this change because I had seen Zlatas videos and she was very empowering and believed that everyone could break out of old habits and form new ones.
What do you like most about SexyFit approach to nutrition, fitness and accountability? The nutrition is flexible! I can eat so much nutritious foods that actually make me feel energized and healthy! The accountability is key. Knowing I need to report every week and get feedback is so valuable and keeps me on my goals. The fitness is also so important! I see shape in my body now because we work with a good ratio of weights and cardio- not too much of either. Zlata really knows her stuff!
In your journey, what are you most proud of? The fact that I stopped eating junk food everyday. I never thought in my life I would not be hitting up a drive thru every night!
What are your words of wisdom to someone who is just starting their journey? Trust the process! No matter what you feel, even if you don’t feel like you are making progress, please keep going and listen to the program!
What is your favorite inspirational quote? How does one become a butterfly? They have to want to learn to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.
